ABOUT US

The Past, The Present

The market for publications has undergone a technological transformation in recent years. To keep pace with the emerging scenario we are pleased to take a step ahead in today's era of digitization or a less-paper office and with the publisher community of the world at large. The change is most immediately apparent in the number of journals that are now available in digital form. Although most digital journals are published alongside a print version, it is becoming increasingly likely that some journals will be published in digital form only. Many already have digital - only sections.

The Parent Body

Needless to reiterate Scientific Publishers, have been prominent in publication and distribution of books and periodicals of science and technology since last three decades.

The Perspective

Our primary reason for going online is because that is the way the market is heading. Researchers demand content right now - and usually they really wanted it yesterday. We also want to distribute our content globally so as to provide the utmost service and value to our international customer base.

  • The aim is to offer journals online to a wider customer base
  • Facilitate research to enhance understanding and explore inter-disciplinary linkages among the identified subjects
  • Create and maintain a knowledge database

The future is online, not just for book sales, but delivery as well. The digitization of journals brings many advantages, it:

  • Reduces the cost of distributing published material
  • Presents material in a wide range of formats, enabling readers to use it more effectively
  • Provides new ways of accessing historical data - archives can be found at the click of mouse
  • Enables publishers to compile more accurate statistics on usage patterns and user bases, helping them to tailor their products to the market
  • Enables more effective searching
  • Increases access for users in the developing world, by making articles available online
